First Time College Student

Follow These Steps:

1. Submit an Application - Complete the Online Application. Within 4 business days of submission online, you will receive two emails from Sierra College containing important information, including your Sierra college ID number, MySierra Login information & your Sierra College email account address.
2. Complete Assessment - If you are planning to take English, Math, Reading or English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, you must take the Assessment. If you are not planning to take English, Math, Reading or English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, you do not have to take the Assessment. Assessment in reading, English and mathematics helps determine your skill level and course placement.
3. Attend Orientation, Meet with a Counselor - Find out about rules and policies that may affect your college experience. Then, meet with a counselor who will help develop your educational plan, refer you to appropriate services and answer questions and concerns.
4. Go to MySierra to Register for Courses with the informational emails previously sent on how to set up your MySierra account where you may; register for courses on-line, review your schedule, pay fees, view grades and access the library database.
