Jazz Night, Wednesday, April 29th, 7:30 pm, Dietrich Theatre
One of the most popular concerts of the spring season! Share an evening with the Sierra College Jazz Bands and Vocal Jazz Ensembles. Featured pieces include “That Old Black Magic” by Harold Arlen, Paul Simon’s “So Long, Frank Lloyd Wright,” and “Caravan” by Duke Ellington. Don’t miss this great evening of jazz. Prepare to swing!

Ecuadorian guitarist Ivan Najera returns to Sierra College for an eclectic evening of Spanish, Brazilian, Afro-Caribbean, and American Jazz.
- Spring Choral Concert, Saturday, May 2nd, 7:30 pm, Dietrich Theatre
An afternoon of madrigals, spirituals, and folks songs from around the world will be performed by the Sierra College Chamber and Concert Choirs, under the direction of Dorla Menmuir. Dr. Bill Carmody will be featured soloist on John Rutter’s arrangement of “Down by the Riverside” for chorus and tuba.
- Spring Band Concert, Sunday, May 3rd, 3:00 pm, Dietrich Theatre
Music from American Film masterpieces, plus contemporary band literature including works by John Williams and Eric Whitacre will be presented by the Sierra College Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony, directed by maestro Greg McLaughlin.
All events are $8 general admission, $5 student unless otherwise noted.
