Learning Resources CenterThe Rocklin Campus Library contains more than 98,000 volumes and subscribes to over 200 periodicals. Reference and research information can be obtained electronically through ProQuest for magazine, journal and newspaper articles. Other specialized electronic research databases are also available such as Literature Resource Center and CQ Researcher. The media collection contains many video tapes and DVDs which can be watched in individual viewing carrels or group viewing rooms. The Rocklin Campus Library is also the site at which broadcast origination of all distance learning courses occurs. This program enables students to learn at home by interacting with instructors via the mediums of cable television and telephone return.

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Sunday: CLOSED

NCC Library

NCC libraryThe Nevada County Campus Library has more than 18,000 volumes and subscribes to over 100 periodicals in print. Daily courier service from the Rocklin campus gives students access to the collection at main library. Internet access is available to numerous research databases, as well as our library catalog and our e-book collection. The Nevada County Campus Library offers a full range of services and is also the distance learning testing and support center for Nevada County.

  • Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Friday : 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • The Tutor/Writing Center hours are:
    • Monday, Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    • Tuesday , Thursday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Roseville Gateway Learning Resource Center

Roseville Gateway CampusThe Library Services/Student Study Center offers comfortable surroundings for study and relaxing to over 1,400 students on the Roseville Gateway Campus. Thanks to the generous donation by the United Area Indian Council, our new facility for Library Services and Student Study Center is equipped with state-of-the-art computers and printers to serve the ever-growing population of Sierra College students at the Roseville Gateway Campus. Two stations have adjustable table heights to meet the needs of those in wheelchairs. Reference assistance is provided by a librarian and library assistant via the online reference resources, such as research databases, used on the main campus. Class and individual orientations to research are offered on demand.
