Log on instructions
Students:
If your new user name and password didn't work, go to the mySierra Help page for assistance.
Please print these instructions so you can refer to them while online.
Please follow these steps to log on:
Log on to the new mySierra using the username and password that you received from Sierra College by mail for continuing students and by e-mail for new students.
You will be prompted to change your password – you must follow these guidelines:
- Must be at least 8 characters in length
- Must not be more than 20 characters in length
- Must include at least one uppercase letter (A-Z)
- Must include at least one lowercase letter (a-z)
- Must include at least one digit (0-9)
- Cannot contain special characters
- Cannot contain any part of your user name
- Cannot match any of your last three passwords
- Cannot be changed more than once per day
For security purposes it is important that you do not share your password. Complete the Account Setup procedure and answer the three privacy questions to enable forgot password reset capability. You may now access mySierra. Your Blackboard password remains the same as it was.

- Complete the Account Setup procedure and answer the three privacy questions to enable forgot password reset capability
- You may now access the new mySierra.
Remember, your network password, mySierra password, and e-mail password are all the same. Your Blackboard password remains the same as it was before.
